Delicous indeed
How does one jump from the "not just natural but seriously natural" folks at Burt's Bees to La Maison Cartier, you ask?
That's me. I was educated amongst the earnest flower children of the University of Oregon. Despite my best efforts, I acquired a small and undernourished hippie streak to go along with my lifelong penchant for the pretty things.
This is Delices - the new fragrance by Cartier. It's decidedly unhippie and quite pretty. I wish you had smell-o-puter. Because this fragrance is sexy and warm and deserves a home as pretty as this bottle.
I should work for Burt's Bees
Really.
They've already got me talking up their fantastic products to anyone who will listen. They just don't pay me. They also don't know I exist.
But, seriously, I use something from good ol' Burt and his bees on just about every part of my body. Everybody knows about their lip balms and hand cremes. But some of the lesser known products are even better.
Starting with their Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo and Conditioner. They mean super shiny.
Nothing beats a hot bath and a long soak. Except for a hot bath with some Vitamin E Body & Bath Oil with Sweet Almond Oil & Lemon Oil in it.
For me, hand lotion is just not enough. I spend too much time in the pool and doing dishes. Ok, not at the same time. Sorry, Kramer. The Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme finishes the job.
My personal favorite is the Coconut Foot Creme. Forget pedicures. This is all you need. This and some super fantastic sandals.
This could be the start of something beautiful
I love reading blogs. Some of my favorites are:
Beauty Addict - For the fabulous product reviews.
Blogdorf Goodman - For all the great fragrance rundowns.
The Manolo - For the superfantasticness of it all.
Ann Althouse - For the fascinating tidbits pulled together by one very smart and rather funky lady.
Now, me, I have very little to add to the blogosphere. But I am a quite accomplished shopper. Shoptress. Shoppienne. Chump. Whatever.
With that in mind, here is my blog where you can browse the fruits of my endless shopping.
