I've been saying!

My current neighborhood has a walk score of 23 out of 100 - car dependent. My old hood in Portland has a walk score of 89 out of 100 - very walkable. Portland itself is in the top 10 cities for walkable neighborhoods in the country! This is all I've been saying, you guys.

Just plugged in our new address and it has a walk score of 11. That's sad. :(

I also mapped out my new run route (for a 3 mile run) in our new neighborhood on mapmyrun.com.

Yeah, 94! I can walk to a grocery store, airport, major league baseball stadium, art museum, and movie theater.
