For fabulous finds from emerging designers, there is no better stop than Girlshop.com. If you're in NYC, they have a great walk-in location in the meatpacking district. For the rest of us, the web site is key. Browsing through their collection yields a couple of the summer's hottest themes. These pieces have a chic, updated 70's feel with the glamourous draped fabric and neutral pallette. Black and white is another trend we are seeing a lot of and these have a crisp yet feminine feel with a slightly 80's vibe. But, never fear - no leggings! Eyelet is also everywhere right now. These pieces are ethereal without giving up all their structure. I am in love with this look. For a dress that is feminine but with a punchier color, I really like these two.
